About | Jennifer Hunt

Attorney at Law

Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Jennifer fell in love with Nashville as an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University and decided to make Nashville her home. After graduating with a double major in neuroscience and philosophy, she was a pharmaceutical sales representative where she enjoyed developing relationships with doctors and staff across Tennessee. Her intrigue in the healthcare system laws and regulations drove her to pursue a career in law. She attended Vanderbilt Law School where she was the managing editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology.

Initially Jennifer aspired to be a health care law attorney, but discovered she enjoyed the intimate collaboration between clients that was afforded by elder law and estate planning. As an estate planner and elder law attorney, Jennifer has the wonderful opportunity to collaborate and work with others, as well as gain the satisfaction of addressing complex legal challenges.

Family has always played an important role in her life. When her grandmother fell ill during her first year of law school, Jennifer would travel home every month to help her mother care for her. Jennifer understands the inherent difficulties of caring for aging relatives, having gone through the experience of navigating Medicaid and organizing care for her grandmother. Now she wants to provide families with the peace and comfort in knowing their loved ones will be provided for during life’s unfortunate events. By getting to know clients and their families on a highly personal level, and discussing their hopes and dreams, Jennifer can provide the best plan for her clients at any point in their life.
